Incognito Stats

Incognito & Streamer Mode Players Are Visible in Your Matches.

When a player in your own Valorant match has incognito mode on, most trackers just show a blank profile. Instalock shows their real rank, K/D, and recent form — because inside your own match, that data is already on your game client.

How Does This Work?

Valorant's "incognito" or streamer mode is designed to hide a player's real Riot ID from the game UI so that stream snipers can't look up their account by username and pull stats from third-party trackers. That's a legitimate use case and it works well against most public trackers.

But here's the thing: when you are actively in a Valorant match with an incognito player, your own game client has to know who they are. It has to render their agent, play their voice lines, count their kills, and award them the round win. That means the player's PUUID — the actual unique identifier Riot uses — is sitting in your game client's memory the entire time you're playing against them, whether they're in streamer mode or not.

Instalock reads that local match state through the same presence channel your game already uses, then uses the PUUID to fetch the player's public stats. The result: inside a match you're playing, every opponent and teammate is fully visible, incognito setting or not.

Important: What Instalock Doesn't Do.

Instalock is a personal scouting tool for matches you're personally playing. It does not:

  • Look up arbitrary players by name from outside a match
  • Scrape other trackers to bypass their privacy respect
  • Enable stalking, doxxing, or harassment of players outside your match context
  • Store or display data for players who aren't in a game you're actively in
  • Post, share, or make public any private player information

The data is visible to you, in your session, for players you are already playing with — the same scope of visibility that your own Valorant client already has. It does not create any new privacy exposure for other players beyond what already exists in every live match.

Why Does This Matter?

Stream snipers and harassers don't need Instalock. They can (and do) use desktop overlays, Overwolf apps, and existing workarounds. The players who are disadvantaged by privacy mode are the normal ranked players who face a 5-stack they can't scout. Instalock levels that playing field without enabling any behavior that wasn't already possible with other tools.
