Why Live Match Intel Changes Ranked Valorant.
Ranked Valorant rewards information asymmetry. The team that knows which opponent is a one-trick Jett main, which duelist is on a 4-loss tilt, and which Sage main has an 80% headshot rate plays a fundamentally different game than the team guessing. Tracker.gg gives you that data — but only if you leave the game, tab out, type a Riot ID, click through an ad, wait for the page to load, and then come back. By the time you've scouted one player, the agent select timer is at 30 seconds and you haven't locked yet.

How it works (technically).
When you are in a live Valorant match, your own game client already knows every player's PUUID — it has to, because the game needs to render them, send them damage events, and show their agent pick. Instalock reads that local game-client state through the same presence channel Valorant itself uses, then enriches each PUUID with their public match history, rank, and stats. Nothing is scraped from outside your match, nothing is looked up against private players you aren't playing with, and your password never enters the picture.
Does this work if opponents have incognito / streamer mode on?
Yes. Streamer mode hides a player's real Riot ID from most third-party trackers that look them up by username — but inside your own match, their data is still there, because your game client needs it.
