Why Live Match Intel Changes Ranked Valorant.
Ranked Valorant rewards information asymmetry. The team that knows which opponent is a one-trick Jett main, which duelist is on a 4-loss tilt, and which Sage main has an 80% headshot rate plays a fundamentally different game than the team guessing. Tracker.gg gives you that data — but only if you leave the game, tab out, type a Riot ID, click through an ad, wait for the page to load, and then come back. By the time you've scouted one player, the agent select timer is at 30 seconds and you haven't locked yet.

How it works (technically).
When you are in a live Valorant match, your own game client already knows every player's PUUID — it has to, because the game needs to render them, send them damage events, and show their agent pick. Instalock reads that local game-client state through the same presence channel Valorant itself uses, then enriches each PUUID with their public match history, rank, and stats. Nothing is scraped from outside your match, nothing is looked up against private players you aren't playing with, and your password never enters the picture.
Does this work if opponents have incognito / streamer mode on?
Yes. Streamer mode hides a player's real Riot ID from most third-party trackers that look them up by username — but inside your own match, their data is still there, because your game client needs it. Can Instalock really show me every opponent in agent select?
Yes. The moment Valorant agent select starts, Instalock reads your local game client's match roster and populates every player's card with rank, K/D, headshot percentage, main agent, and recent match results. You see all 10 players before the agent select timer hits 30 seconds.
How does Instalock get opponent stats without being a desktop app?
Your own Valorant game client already knows the PUUID of every player in your match — it needs that data to render them and count their kills. Instalock reads those PUUIDs through Riot's presence channel and then fetches each player's public stats from Riot's own match-history API. No scraping, no injection, no overlay.
Does this work on players who have incognito or streamer mode enabled?
Yes, inside matches you are actively playing. Incognito mode hides a player's Riot ID from public lookups by name, but your game client still has their PUUID because it needs it. Instalock reads that local data and shows you their real stats regardless of their privacy setting.
Do I need to install anything to use Live Match Intel?
No. Instalock runs entirely in your web browser. There is no desktop app, no browser extension, no Overwolf overlay, and nothing to install or update. You sign in once with Riot Mobile QR and it works.
Does it update during the match itself, or only in agent select?
Both. The dashboard updates during agent select to show you the initial lobby, and it continues updating throughout the live match so you can reference opponent stats at any point during the game.
